Anja Clarke is a graphic designer by profession, but passionate about art as it allows more freedom of self expression. I find my joy in creating. I started creating art almost as an antidote to the negativity in the world surrounding me – use it as a means to find inspiration and joy in the world around me. My design background spills over into my art – I use layers of different mediums, vibrant colour, strong shapes and composition to convey emotion. Primarily inspired by nature, light, colour and the way I see the world around me.
