In Salvelio Meyer’s words: My art journey started in the early 80s when I enrolled at the University of Wits for a BA of Art, but a year later enrolled at the University of Salamanca, Spain, to study fine arts. In 1988 I enrolled at the PE Technikon, now Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth and achieved a B-Tech in photography. I worked for many years as a freelance photo journalist. In 2016 I returned to my painting and art roots.
