Khulekani Msweli was born in Vuvulane, Eswatini, in 1984. Spent most of his early years of primary and high school education in Eswatini, acquired higher education and work experience in England. In 2010 Msweli established JEREMPAUL, a multiple award-winning, high end design and art lifestyle brand. His latest venture has been the establishment of the Vuvulane Food Market. Msweli designs objects in fashion and furniture that revive artisan’s skills while challenging them to entice young generations to take part and take pride in the value and meaning of design craftwork and art. His art focus is in installations, performance, photography and sculpture. He has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions locally and internationally. Msweli’s greatest wish is to continue utilizing his design, art and general creativity to bring about meaningful human centred development in his Vuvulane community, through his family’s Foundation (Vuvulane Orphans & Vulnerable Children’s Foundation www.vovcof.org) where he operates as the board secretary.
To further enhance his knowledge in the arts, Msweli has travelled extensively within North America, The Middle East and Africa.
