Edgar Pretorius (1983 -) is a qualified graphic designer and teacher. In 2010 he joined the staff of Pearson High School where he is currently teaching Design. As a fine artist Pretorius subject matter includes large-scale portraiture, especially indigenous African women in their full regalia. Working pre-dominantly in oils, his other subjects include fauna and flora in his characteristic photorealistic style.
