Johanna Okon-Watkins is an artist and a conservator / restorer of ceramics. Her work is mostly sculptural and can manifest itself in textiles, clay, paper, discarded objects or materials found in nature. The process of making is particularly important to her, it is how she explores visual and conceptual ideas. She goes on a journey with materials and processes and likes to embrace the unexpected.
